Logan Wilkin - Kansas City Faux Painter

Logan Wilkin | Wilkin Custom Finishes

Logan Wilkin, Founder of Wilkin Custom Finishes, was born and raised on a 2000-acre farm in a small Midwest town. His experience on the farm helped to mold his strong work ethic and values that have helped to grow his company.

Logan’s love for art and passion for painting started in high school and continued at Central Missouri University, where he attended on an art scholarship. After nearly 10 years in the construction industry learning as much as possible, Logan decided to take his construction knowledge and get back to his artistic roots by opening Wilkin Custom Finishes.

To perfect his skills, he has completed countless hours of classes at Surfaces Faux Finishings and Decorative Art Studio. With the help of his mentor Rebecca Slaton, who has over 30 years of experience, Logan has learned to work with and use nearly every material in the industry.

Logan, his wife and 9-year-old daughter now call Kansas City home. He will work with each client to provide the finish that is right for them, from a basic re-stain to a completely new custom design. He uses only the highest quality materials that are low VOC, low odor, water based and environmentally-safe. In addition to custom cabinet, wall, floor and furniture finishings, he also paints custom murals and does commercial logo replication.

Logan takes great pride in his quality of work and quick turn-around.
